Most people feel little to no discomfort. You may notice a brief sensation such as a tiny pinch, warmth, tingling, heaviness, or a dull ache, which is often a sign that the body is responding to treatment. Many patients find the experience deeply relaxing and even fall asleep during their session.I'll explain everything before we begin, answer any questions you have, and we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. However, if your insurance plan offers out-of-network acupuncture benefits, I'm happy to provide a superbill that you can submit for possible reimbursement.
